What do we buy
Public Services and Procurement Canada is to establish a RMSO for government departments, agencies, Crown corporations, and organizations participating in the Canadian Collaborative Procurement Initiative (CCPI).
This procurement tool is for the supply and delivery of compressed gases and associated welding supplies.
The compressed gases include:
- various gas mixes
- different industrial grade Acetylene
- various mix of oxygen
- various mix of air
- ammonia
- various mix of argon
- butane
- calibration gas
- various mix of carbon monoxide
- diving oxygen
- hydrogen
- research grade krypton
- liquid nitrogen
- methane
- various mix of nitrogen
The associated welding supplies include:
- the specified steel wire
- welding contact tips
- torch
- high tensile steel rod
- mild steel rod
- welding goggles
- welding gloves
- welding helmets
- hydrostatic testing
- valves repairing
How do we buy
- The compressed gases and the associated welding supplies are procured through a call-up against the standing offer (SO)
- 1 SO is issued to supply all items for all federal departments, agencies and CCPI participants in the Ontario region excluding the National Capital Region (NCR)
- The SO supplier is selected based on the lowest compliant price
- The items not listed will be provided at a discount
