Canadian General Standards Board is celebrating its 90th anniversary
Created in 1934, the Canadian General Standards Board (CGSB) is a standards development and conformity assessment organization part of the Government of Canada. This summer, CGSB will be celebrating its 90th anniversary! Accredited by the Standards Council of Canada, CGSB provides standards development, management systems certification and registration, and product and service certification and qualification services. These services support the economic, regulatory, procurement, health, safety and environmental sectors across the country.
On the occasion of its 90th anniversary, CGSB would like to thank not only its employees for their work, but also the volunteers who sit on the various standards development committees. Without them, the organization would not have the reputation it has today.
