July 2021 | Recently, Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) launched CanadaBuys, a new suite of procurement services to help suppliers do business with the Government of Canada. The new services are designed to be easier and quicker to use than ever. To prepare for the transition to CanadaBuys, suppliers are encouraged to register their business through SAP Ariba, the new electronic procurement solution. Please contact the CanadaBuys service desk should there be any trouble getting started on SAP Ariba. |
August 2020 | The Canada-United States-Mexico Agreement (CUSMA) replaces the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and will enter into force on July 1, 2020. For all procurements commenced prior to CUSMA’s effective date, any obligations under NAFTA will continue to apply until those procurements are complete. With respect to the thresholds used to determine the appropriate number of suppliers and bidding period, NAFTA will be replaced by the Canada Korea Free Trade Agreement (CKFTA). |
January 2020 |
The following recent changes have been made to the Treasury Board Contracting Policy and Government Contract Regulations that will affect the PASS Supply Arrangement (SA):
Please be reminded that the Contracting Officer awarding and signing any resulting contract must hold the appropriate Delegated Contracting Authority for such amount. As always, these amounts include all applicable taxes, travel/living expenses and amendments. |
April 2019 |
The new set of PASS SA (E60ZQ-180001/###/ZQ) have been awarded and are available for use as of April 2019. All Requests for Proposals (RFPs) issued prior to that date under previous PASS SAs (E60ZQ-140002/###/ZQ) remain valid and can still be awarded to a holder of the previous SA. Additionally, any contracts that were awarded under the previous SA whose periods (including any option periods) extend past the date above still remain valid. |
